We got to chat with Omega Weddings about their recent work, “Dustin + Lauren“, and why music makes such a difference in wedding films—in particular, how the song choice in a wedding video can take the project to the next level. Their amazing work earned them a Musicbed Award. Check out the full interview and read more about their process below.
Musicbed: Tell us about a unique challenge you faced in making this film.
Omega Wedding: The most significant challenge I faced was re-conceptualizing the entire day, and carefully selecting music that would accurately portray the essence of Lauren & Dustin’s story.
How did the music you selected contribute to this project? What was the music selection process like?
The music played a crucial role in capturing the atmosphere we aimed to create. We sought a song that could encapsulate the dreamy, romantic ambiance of the greenhouse while seamlessly blending with the couple’s playful and lighthearted nature. Striking this balance was essential for creating a soundtrack that truly reflected the unique and joyful essence of their relationship.
What difference do you think using Musicbed made in your project?
One of the things I love most about Musicbed is the extensive range of categories available. With such a wide variety of genres and styles, Musicbed made it easy to narrow down options and find the perfect track to suit Lauren & Dustin’s wedding film.
